Day 1

 I have a soft spot for funny guys so of course Adrian Ivashkov is my favorite male character in VA.

While reading frostbite I was like cool a funny guy and from then on the books just got better because Adrian was in them. I wanted him to stick around so that I could read his funny lines which at times made me laugh out loud. I was team Dimitri though he had to be more than funny to win me over, and what do you know he was. I did not expect him to play such a big part in the books cause he seemed to me to be this funny guy who is oh so good looking and charming but all he wants is to get in your pants.  I was wrong. He is so much better than that, being funny isn´t even the thing I like best about him anymore.

I already had Rose, Dimitri and Lissa figured out early on in the book. Adrian was the only one who really took me by surprise with every book in the series and I love when characters do that I love when they prove me dead wrong. I always thought he was joking around with Rose just for fun but suddenly he was seriously in love with her and such a sweet boyfriend. At the end of Last sacrifice and the heartbreaking scene with Rose I wanted him to call her nasty things and hurt her a little back but he didn´t. He was just honest about his feelings.
That’s it. No name–calling. Nothing. Why? Because he´s a good guy and that just made me love him even more.
